The USA Power Summit | Downtown Austin

The USA Power Summit will be hosted in Downtown Austin, within the central business and entertainment district and close to many of the city’s major hotels, restaurants and cultural attractions.

This compact part of the city provides an excellent base for visiting delegates. A wide range of accommodation is available within easy walking distance, allowing participants to select hotels according to their preferred level of service and travel budget while remaining close to the Summit.

The surrounding area combines Austin’s business district with many of the characteristics for which the city is best known. Delegates are within walking distance of 6th Street and its live-music venues, Downtown Austin’s restaurants and bars, Lady Bird Lake and its waterfront trails, the Rainey Street district and the Congress Avenue corridor, while the Texas State Capitol is also easily accessible.

For USA Power Summit participants, the principal advantage is convenience. Delegates can attend the business programme during the day and continue discussions informally over dinner, drinks or meetings nearby without relying heavily on taxis or transfers.

We recommend that delegates select accommodation within the Downtown Austin / Convention Center District, particularly around E 2nd Street to E 6th Street, Red River Street and the surrounding central Downtown area.
